FULL TIME JOB: LEVEL 3 LATHE MACHINIST
$21- $27 Per hour

This role calls for a skilled machinist to take ownership of complex turning work, support first-piece prove-out, troubleshoot production issues, assist less-experienced machinists, improve repeatability, and production performance.

Experience:
5 years of experience setting up and operating 2-axis and mill-turn lathes, with knowledge of tooling, toolholders, and lathe chucks to improve quality and efficiency. Using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc. to inspect parts against blueprints/WIP documentation.

Experience with FANUC and/or Okuma controls and the ability to adjust programs at the machine using G-code.

Familiarity with machining aerospace materials. 

Understanding of QC management systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100D. Proficiency with basic geometry, positive and negative numbers, and tool geometry.
Software:
| Basic understanding of G Code. Mastercam, SW a PLUS.
Education:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in CNC machining technology, precision machining, manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering, engineering technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and expertise.
Responsibilities:
Experience Required: Must have five years’ experience in:

·         Must have experience using Fanuc and/or Okuma Controls.

·         Have experience setting up and running 2-axis and Mill/Turn Lathes!

·         CNC Lathe programming using G Code at the machine.

·         Be Familiar ISO9001D, and/or ISOAs9100, PPAP and CAR

·         Must have experience reading and interpreting 2D drawings and G, D & T

·         General Software-Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook, Power Point.

·         Ability to lift 50 pounds.

·         Ability to stand throughout the work shift.

·         Experience in Aerospace, Medical, or high-volume manufacturing
